Overview

iBitter is a free service that allows individuals to express their feelings anonymously about another individual in a semi anonymous fashion.  Posts on this website do not reflect the views of the parent company in ownership of this website (www.ibittercom). 

This website is meant solely for entertainment purposes and the content you provide to this website should not be used for malicious, inappropriate, and/or illegal activity.  Please review the following clauses to understand your levels of anonymity.  You are ultimately in control of these levels.

Posting

Owner (the Bitter)

The owner of each post; or anyone posting a message on this website is posting completely anonymous outside of general automatic server IP logging.  You are only identified by the “relationship” that you choose. Each relationship has varying levels of anonymity.   You must use this feature at your own risk. If you are choosing to post as a “Your Friend” your level of anonymity is going to be lower than choosing to post as “Your Brother”.  Please use your own discretion when using the iBitter service and any other service associated with iBitter.com.

Recipient (the Bittee)

The nature of this website is to provide truthful remarks about another individual’s behavior.  This website has been developed to give the recipient or target of these remarks a varying level of anonymity.  The “first name” field in the “bit” submission form, is for entering the first name of the individual and ONLY the first name.  Furthermore, you are only permitted to enter the first letter of the target individual’s last name.  You are NEVER permitted to include a recipient’s full last name or full surname (first and last name).

Post Body Content (the Bit)

Users of iBitter.com must use extreme caution and tact when using our services.  iBitter, its parent company and associated parties are not responsible for the content posted on this website unless posted by an above mentioned party. In which case the individual who has posted any message in question shall be responsible for their own actions, leaving the team at iBitter, its parent company, and associated parties separate responsibility of said action.

Users have the ability to choose from varying levels of anonymity while posting to iBitter.com.  Your choice of anonymity coupled with your choice of words in your associated posts, should be considered before clicking on the submit button.

It is NEVER acceptable to post ANYONE’s full name inside the body of a post.  This includes the user’s name, the recipient’s name, and/or any other actual human beings surname, or first and last names separately. You are ONLY permitted to use legal and/or “nick names” in the section of the “bit” form labeled “first name”.  In case you must follow all regulations that are explained above in the “Recipient (the Bittee)” section of the TOS.

Repercussions, Cautions and Facts.

  1. Violating ANY of the above or below rules and regulations, will result in disciplinary action. This action is subject to at minimum, the removal of the post in violation.  Other forms of disciplinary action include (but not limited to):
    1. Removal of all posts associated with the IP address of the user in violation.
    2. Banning of the IP address associated with the post in violation.
    3. Removing the ability to use the first name and last initial combination along with the associated city and state of the post in violation for all future use.
  2. Violating ANY of the above or below rules and regulations coupled with illegal activity or any illegal activity alone (which in itself is a violation) will result in contact of authorities at minimum.
  3. The team at iBitter, its parent company, and/or its associated parties have access only to the IP address or origin of each post. This information will NEVER be used for activities outside of logging purposes and the information gathered will NEVER be sold to any third party.  This information if used ONLY for traffic statistics, analysis. Exceptions include:
    1. Release of information to authorities in the event of illegal activity.
    2. Sale of iBitter and/or iBitter.com to another owner. In which the previous parent company and associated parties are no longer liable for the actions of the new owner.
  4. iBitter is completely FREE to use for posting services and is available to anyone.  Do not post items or information on the website that you are not comfortable with releasing to the general public.
  5. Do not, under any circumstances, release personal, financial, or sensitive information about yourself, the recipient, or any other individual anywhere on iBitter.com.
  6. iBitter, its parent company, and associated parties are not responsible for the content that has been submitted to this website. However, we reserve the right to remove any addition to this site without discretion, contact, or notice.
